F.lux – Adapt your screen to the day

Found this on StumbleUpon recently, and am trying it out. It’s a neat little piece of software which adapts your monitor colour scheme to the time of day where you are, which saves you going blind from waking up at 3AM and looking at your monitor. I totally do that.
Let me know what you think as well, of course. It’s a nice idea, but is it anything more than a gimmick?
